Mark Geilenkirchen is a senior executive with over 25 years of leadership experience across the energy, logistics, and infrastructure sectors. He currently serves as VP Growth for Advario, where he oversees the expansion and execution of the investment portfolio across the Middle East, developing new joint ventures and advancing strategic energy projects in the region. Previously, Mark was the Project CEO of AMNAH, a USD 7 billion green hydrogen platform in Oman backed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. He led the initiative from concept to start of execution—winning Oman’s first green hydrogen land auction, establishing offtake strategies, and shaping the project’s commercial and government frameworks. Before that, Mark served as CEO of Sohar Port and Freezone, where he oversaw major expansion programs, attracted over USD 1 billion in annual investments, and advanced sustainability initiatives including Oman’s first commercial solar park. Earlier in his career, he held global leadership roles at APM Terminals and senior positions in banking, consulting, and public service. Mark is recognized for building businesses from inception, guiding organizations through transformation, and forging strong partnerships with governments, investors, and industry stakeholders across the Middle East and beyond.
