Panel Discussion: Natural hydrogen – can the reality deliver the potential?

22 Oct 2025
Low Carbon Hydrogen Production
Low Carbon Hydrogen Production

A panel discussion to understand the theoretical potential of natural (geological / white) hydrogen as a low-cost, low CO2-intensity energy source. And, to assess the status of exploration and maturity of extraction projects in a way to determine whether natural hydrogen will live up to some of the claims that are made around it. How is it formed, is it renewable, where are the best reserves, who are the key players, is it cost-effective, will it have a material impact? Is it an energy gold-mine, and a genuine part of the long-term decarbonisation solution, or is it a fantasy that will never go beyond a geological curiosity? Join the debate to listen and learn from leading insiders and experts.
