Given the critical role of ammonia in decarbonisation, it is imperative that safety does not become its Achilles' heel. It is essential to incorporate safety measures into the design of production and distribution systems, ensuring they are properly operated and maintained throughout their life cycles.  DNV will present multiple initiatives to support Large ports to adapt safely their infrastructure and operating modes for such alternative fuels.
