Building Scalable CCUS Infrastructure: Enabling Blue Hydrogen and CO₂ Utilisation
Carbon Utilisation and Blue Hydrogen
Title: Building Scalable CCUS Infrastructure: Technologies for Capture, Transport, and Storage
Abstract: Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) remains a critical pathway for decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors.. A successful CCUS value chain involves capturing CO₂ from diverse sources and transporting it to designated storage or utilization sites.
This presentation outlines Baker Hughes’ contributions to this value chain, including advanced solvent-based and solvent-agnostic (Direct Air Capture - DAC) CO₂ capture technologies, and integrated systems for CO₂ compression and pumping,. Additionally, it highlights how a digital can support risk mitigation, operational optimization, and streamlined reporting across CCUS projects.
