Hydrogen is being championed as a route to decarbonising heavy industry and transportation. Ammonia, a derivative of hydrogen, is another versatile fuel with potential due to its higher energy density than hydrogen and is already widely used in a number of industries. However, with new applications requires new research, funding and collaboration between private and public stakeholders to demonstrate its efficacy and overcome infrastructure challenges. This panel discussion will look at the ammonia value chain and its market potentials as a fuel and energy carrier.
